Family Involvement & Transition Home

  • While your puppy is in training you will receive regular update and tips. You will be given access to a large library of videos that cover all of the areas of training that we worked on with your puppy and are great resources for working with pup when they come home. You will be provided with a detailed guideline on what we suggest for your specific puppy to make sure that training is maintained. It will take some work but most pups can maintain their training with clear boundaries and 1-2 training sessions a day no longer than 5-10 minutes.

  • At the conclusion of your puppy’s training program you have access to unlimited text support during business hours for the number of weeks equal to the number of weeks your puppy did training. So if your puppy completed a 2 week training you have 2 weeks of additional text support once pup goes home.

  • It is important that everyone is on the same page when it comes to rules and guidelines in the home so that puppy is not confused. We recommend that all family members be included in the training text thread so that they can all follow along on puppy’s progress and see how we are working with pup and how they can too. United support at home makes for a more balanced pup that is a better companion for the whole family.

  • Absolutely! And we highly encourage it. We find that kids who get involved in the training are more involved in all care of the family pet and it strengthens the bond with the puppy. Additionally, this shows puppy that kids are also leaders in the home and not just loud creatures to chase around.

  • Yes! This is a crucial part of the transition back home. We will provide you with a clear schedule and are available to help tailor it to meet the specific needs of your puppy and your family.

  • When you come to pick your puppy up at the conclusion of their training program we set aside ample time to walk through training, answer any lingering questions and help families practice a lot of what the puppy has been working on.
